Vitae, als onderdeel van Manpower, de 'netwerkorganisatie van Nieuwe Professionals' is bezig met het maken van plannen voor de invoering van het nieuwe werken.

Op gebied van mens & organisatie: hoe kunnen we HNW het beste implementeren, wat zijn de te verwachten hobbels (management, management en, eh, management), doen we de implementatie zelf, besteden we het uit, of doen we een beetje van beide, wat kost al die training en coaching, maar ook wat levert het op?", schrijft Wieneke Gehner, Manager Online Communicatie en verantwoordelijk voor het traject in haar blog.

"Op gebied van ICT is de inventarisatie van de technische mogelijkheden verder uitgezocht, maar vooral ook gekeken naar hoe andere bedrijven dit hebben doorgevoerd. Krijgt iedereen onbeperkt technische middelen tot zijn beschikking, beperk je dat of geef je mensen de keuze waar ze het liefst mee werken? Hierbij wel uitgegaan van een niet onbeperkt ICT budget, natuurlijk. Uiteindelijk is voor ons duidelijk welke manier het beste bij HNW en bij Vitae'ers past: geef ze zelf de keuze met welke middelen ze willen werken. Met een eigen budget, dit is flexibel voor de organisatie en maakt de medewerkers blijer."

Kantoor

"En op gebied Kantoor & Omgeving zijn enorme berekeningen gemaakt. Wat is nu het gemiddelde percentage lege werkplekken, naar hoeveel werkplekken moeten we dan toe, rekening houdend met groei in de toekomst? Wat levert ruimtebeperking op aan huur, aan licht, aan schoonmaak, wat kost verbouwen van alle vestigingen, en wat levert het op als we een aantal vestigingen samen voegen tot regiokantoren, zodat we grotere ontmoetingsplekken creeëren voor ons netwerk? Hier is een enorme excel uitgekomen die ik niet begreep, gelukkig hebben we binnen Vitae veel knappe financiële koppen, onder onze VIP's (interim proffessionals) en commerciele mensen, die me hebben bezworen dat het allemaal klopt :). En de samenvatting begreep ik dan wel, dat viel weer mee."

Veel geld opleveren

"Bottom line is wel dat HNW al snel veel geld gaat opleveren, uitgaande van de ervaringen van andere bedrijven op gebied van stijging van productiviteit e.d. Maar zelfs als de financiële winst maar een kwart is van dat wat we berekend hebben, blijft HNW voor het strategieteam een absolute must voor Vitae's toekomst. Want uiteindelijk draait het bij ons om Plezierig werken en Geluk. En ik ben ervan overtuigd dat als we HNW doorvoeren, we in de toekomst onze score in de Vitae geluksscan enorm zien stijgen!"
