Gemeente Ede start pilot Het Nieuwe Werken

Medewerkers van de gemeente Ede kunnen sinds kort kiezen of ze willen werken vanuit een cubicle, in een stilteruimte of zich willen terugtrekken in een felgroene belstoel. De gemeente heeft een pilot Het Nieuwe Werken gestart. 

Een bouwdeel van vier verdiepingen van het raadhuis is tot een moderne werkomgeving met flexplekken verbouwd. Afdelingen hebben een eigen zone, maar binnen de afdeling kunnen medewerkers overal werken. Eigen bureau's heeft men niet, persoonlijke spullen worden in een locker opgeslagen.

Communicatiemedewerker Wilma van Wensem geeft aan dat bij de ontruiming van de werkplekken veel moest worden weggegooid of digitaal opgeslagen. 'Medewerkers hebben nog maar één plank in een kast'. Van Wensem ervaart het nieuwe werken als prettig. 'Je komt meer in contact met mensen die je anders alleen op de gang tegenkwam. Dan zit je weer eens naast die te werken, dan weer naast die.' Ook de variatie aan werkplekken bevalt goed. Concentratieplekken, of juist plekken waar je makkelijk kunt communiceren.. En elke werkvloer heeft een huiskamer en een keuken voor de lunch of het vieren van verjaardagen.
